Fit & basic specs

Build steps (quick start)
- Shape/sand your wood block and prepare axle holes/slots per your rules.
- Test-fit the shell; lightly sand contact areas for a flush fit if needed.
- Add ballast weight to reach your event’s legal limit.
- Finish the shell (fill → sand → prime → paint → clear).
- Mount shell, install wheels/axles, and submit for inspection.
Finishing tips
- Wet-sand PLA after a filler-primer for a smooth paint base.
- Use light heat care—PLA can soften in high temperatures.
- Spot-fill layer lines, then apply 2–3 color coats plus clear.
