Pinewood Derby Car Weight – Heart  is a great way to bring your race car to proper weight in style.  To achieve top speed, your pinewood derby car must weigh-in at the maximum allowable weight (generally 5 ounces).   Our weights for pinewood derby cars come with flat bottoms that allow drilling (if needed) to remove excess weight.  If you make a thin ultralight body, probably the only way to add weight is to the top of the body.   As a result, this is a good solution to your problem.

Keeping with the low design principle of low weight, minimal drag, this pinewood derby car weight is, low compact, with smooth rounded flow allowing adaptability for your desired COG because of its flat bottom design.  Simply glue/screw in place.

Method of install is GLUE on.  The bottom of this canopy is flat.  This allows you to adjust the pinewood derby weight to get the perfect Center of Gravity.

Please cover all exposed lead with paint or some sort of physical barrier.   DO NOT sand lead without proper breathing equipment because  Lead dust can be harmful to children if inhaled or swallowed.  We prefer the wet sanding method to cut down on dust.  Consequently do not let you cub scout prepare the lead.  Wash all hands prior to any additional preparation.  Do not blow the dust off in an enclose work space.
