Extra-fine (-325 mesh) graphite for use in precision applications, such as locks, bearings, cameras, firearms action parts (recoil, bolt & trigger mechanisms), fishing reels and pinewood derby cars. An excellent conductor of electricity, this powder is used in the manufacture of conductive materials and coatings. Should not be used in ignition switches or other electrically actuated locks.

Mix with oils, solvents and various greases or use in powder form.

This has the consistency of fine talc powder. Will hold shape under compression. Great blend to pack into the void space of a wheel hub.

Hub packing advocates a reserve of material for the continual loss in subsequent races and also claims to reduce chatter – in essence functioning as a dry bearing.
